Innovation at the Core of Construction
Full-Scale Mock-Up Facility
On site at our HQ we have a fully demountable 600m2 R&D Facility for the creation of full-scale mock-up of our clients’ designs.
We use this facility for verification of concept designs, materials interface testing, installation method verification, productivity assessments, value engineering testing and first of a kind (FOK) samples in a controlled environment.
Extensive Experience
We have extensively used, and continue to utilise, the facility across our business for a wide range of projects. Over time, we have successfully constructed two-storey façade mock-ups within the space, enabling full-scale evaluations and refinements.
In addition, we have built full-scale residential apartment mock-ups, allowing for detailed inspections and quality checks prior to live construction. The facility has also been instrumental in the delivery of various complex data centre mock-ups, carried out for a number of prestigious blue-chip clients. Each of these mock-ups undergoes rigorous testing, build verification, and design evaluation to ensure the highest standards are achieved before site installation.
Collaborative Off-Site Solutions
Beyond our own projects, we actively offer use of the facility to other contractors and project teams. This allows different stakeholders to come together and collaboratively develop co-ordinated mock-ups in a controlled, off-site environment.
By working in this way, clients, consultants, and contractors are able to make earlier, informed decisions and implement design changes where necessary, leading to significant time and cost savings later in the construction process. Ultimately, this approach enhances quality, reduces risk, and benefits all parties involved.
