This project is a prime example of how MMC is transforming our approach to construction. The prefabricated modular cladding system we developed included:

Off-Site Prefabrication at Antrim Yard
At Errigal’s Antrim yard and warehouse, our operatives work daily to produce a wide range of prefabricated components that support construction across all our projects. By completing these tasks in a controlled off-site environment, we reduce material waste, improve quality, and significantly cut down on-site labour and installation time.
We manufacture complete door kits with handles, hinges, and locks pre-installed; prefabricate deflection heads; and produce timber bumper rails for wall protection – all ready for immediate installation. We also prepare door set lintels and jambs, cut plasterboard and fire case board to size, and produce ceiling pattresses, access hatch surrounds, and riser lintels, all built to exact specifications.
Our advanced equipment allows us to cut and router large volumes of plywood quickly and accurately, maintaining a steady stock to meet site demand with minimal lead times. We also handle plastic conduit preparation and create professional-grade door protection panels, complete with branded finishes.
Each item is documented, photographed, and recorded before dispatch to ensure accurate tracking and delivery. By shifting these processes off-site, we create safer, cleaner, and more efficient working conditions – saving time, reducing errors, and supporting the successful delivery of Errigal projects at every level.
