Undergraduate Programme
The Errigal Degree Programme offers ambitious young professionals a chance to build a rewarding construction career while earning a degree. Our degree program provides a clear and structured pathway for our undergraduates, helping them grow from first-year students to confident fifth-year professionals. From the outset, we focus on opportunity, support, and development at every stage of their journey. It combines part-time study with hands-on experience in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Design Technology, Procurement, and Finance.

“I joined Errigal in 2023 through the five-year Undergraduate Programme in Quantity Surveying. The experience has been both challenging and rewarding, providing excellent opportunities for academic and professional development.
As part of my degree, I attend Ulster University in Belfast one day each week, where I have expanded my knowledge of Quantity Surveying while building strong friendships and connections. For the remainder of the week, I work with Errigal, applying my learning in a practical environment.
When I first joined, I gained experience across several departments before progressing into the commercial team. I spent time in Pre-Construction, Estimating and Procurement, which gave me valuable insight into how Errigal operates and how different areas of the business support the role of a Quantity Surveyor.
I later moved into site-based work and have gained experience on a variety of projects across the UK and Ireland, including Dublin, Wales, Bristol, London and Cambridge.
Working on site has provided valuable hands-on experience while allowing me to learn from skilled and experienced professionals. The support and guidance I have received have helped me grow in confidence and develop a deeper understanding of the industry. I am grateful for the opportunities Errigal has provided and look forward to continuing my academic and professional development within the construction industry.”

The Errigal Academy
Our Training Academy was established in 2016 with a vision to become a leading centre for excellence in drywall and interior systems.
Since our inception, we have grown significantly, earning recognition and numerous accolades along the way. As a City and Guilds and UK approved Training Centre, we uphold the highest standards of education, ensuring our trainees receive industry-recognised qualifications. We are proud to now operate three state-of-the-art training facilities located in Monaghan and London.
Over the years, we have successfully trained 208 apprentices, with 90 currently enrolled, continuing our commitment to developing the next generation of skilled professionals. As an Approved Employer and Training Provider, our academy has been honoured with the prestigious Princess Royal Training Award and has achieved remarkable success in competitions such as WorldSkills UK and WorldSkills France. We remain dedicated to expanding our impact and intake of apprentices each year, driving the industry forward through quality education and training.
“I’m proud to have been the first female to complete the Errigal Apprenticeship. With this I was named Student of the Year for Interior Trades at the FIS Training Awards. This felt like real recognition for the work I’d put in. I also made it to the SkillBuild Finals!
I’m currently working on 75 London Wall as a supervisor and I am working towards my NVQ Level 6, aiming for project management next. Looking back at where I started, I am far more confident and have a genuine understand of the drylining industry. Errigal gave me a platform to grow, and I am excited to keep building on that! “
