Potter Cowan, a well-established kitchen supply, installation, and distribution company, became part of Errigal Group in 2023 through a multi-million-pound acquisition aimed at strengthening our overall offering to customers.
With over 75 years of experience, Potter Cowan operates with a team of 50 staff across its contracts and distribution divisions. The company is headquartered in Belfast, with additional branches in Dublin and Cork, and serves a diverse client base across the UK and Ireland.
Since joining the Group, the integration has been seamless – a reflection of the strength and leadership of the Potter Cowan management team, led by Paul Lupari. The business continues to build on its long-standing reputation and success in the industry, with further developments and growth on the horizon.

Comfort Frame
Thermal performance and moisture control for retrofit buildings
Comfort Frame, part of the Errigal Group, designs and manufactures internal wall insulation (IWI) systems for refurbishment and housing retrofit. The systems are developed using Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) principles and produced in a controlled factory environment, ensuring consistent quality control and clear component traceability.
Safeguard incorporates a non-combustible stone wool insulation core within a light-gauge steel frame and achieves an A2-s1,d0 reaction-to-fire classification. The product holds Agrément certification issued by KIWA. Installation is undertaken by trained specialist installers, and work can proceed in occupied homes. A typical room installation is completed within a day.
The system also includes an integrated vapour control layer that improves airtightness at the internal wall lining and controls vapour movement through the wall. This reduces the conditions that could lead to damp and mould. It supports housing providers responding to Awaab’s Law and reflects the whole-house retrofit approach described in PAS 2035.
